As Academic Lead for Aboriginal Health at the University Centre for Rural Health in Lismore, Bundjalung woman Emma Walke finds herself encouraging med and allied health students to find a passion outside of their day to day work and study that refreshes and nurtures them.

Emma’s source of joy is her love of clay and creating pottery and ceramics. This creative escape began in her early twenties, and was interested in art during high school and she is keen to give young people an understanding of what an artistic outlet can bring to their lives…
