LTC is inviting proposals for 2022.
LTC is inviting proposals for stage productions in 2022. Directors wishing to stage a show with LTC in 2022 are invited to submit a proposal by July 30.
Lismore Theatre Company typically stages four productions throughout the year including a pantomime, all at its home, Rochdale Theatre in Goonellabah. To date in 2021, the Company has staged Education Rita directed by David Addenbrooke and Kylie Fuad, Puss in Thongs directed by Danica Taylor and Neighbourhood Watch directed by Daniel Sassi all to wide acclaim. In September, Sharon Brodie will direct Running Up a Dress.
A Proposal will need to include a budget plus the name of a Producer where possible. Proposal and Budget Forms, including a Director’s guide, are available from the Artistic Directors Bette Guy and Jennie Hicks. (emails below)
‘Our Company is open to consider a wide range of productions so we welcome Directors to bring forward their proposals,’ said Jennie Hicks.
‘Proposals and budgets must be submitted using the necessary forms,’ said Bette Guy. ‘Both Jennie and I are available by email to answer any questions,’ Bette added.
Following the close of applications, the Artistic Directors will make recommendations to the full LTC committee for determination.
Shows generally run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays over two or three weeks with a Thursday preview. The theatre seats 88 and the company has experienced back stage, technical and front of house crews that can assist a Director to bring a vision to a reality.
